camp week 1

with Sol

Ages: Rising 1st-4th Graders

Class Time: 9am-3pm

Dates: 6/29/2026 - 7/3/2026

Splotches that look like dragons! Landscapes painted with marbles! Cooky cut-out characters! Combining open-ended creative prompts, process-based painting and drawing techniques, and collaborative games, this summer camp will center young artists’ imaginations. We will start our days with structured painting and drawing games such as painting with feathers or using letter stamps to make unexpected shapes. From there, we will give campers the choice to explore techniques and materials independently; always offering as much guidance or freedom as each artist needs. Join us and get your imaginations going!

fiber fun

camp week 2

with christie

Ages: Rising 3rd-6th Graders

Class Time: 9am-3pm

Dates: 7/6/2026 - 7/10/2026

Join us for a week of fun with fibers! We'll learn how to use natural materials like avocados, black beans and flowers to dye our own fibers and fabric fabulous colors that we then turn into unique works of art! Along the way campers will have the opportunity to use some of the shibori techniques employed in resist dyeing (using different types of binding to create white areas within their designs). Once we've got a batch of dyed materials, we'll let the campers lead the way as they turn those into their own designs: bags, capes, weavings and more.

 $695 - 2 spaces remaining!

Each day they will learn how to make different materials from scratch including clay, paint, crayons, and even paper. We will use these hand made items to make exceptionally personal, environmentally sound, and totally adorable art works.

Back by popular demand!

Distinctive dragons! Mercurial monsters! Powerful princesses! For this week of camp we will look to our favorite storybooks and fairytales for inspiration. We'll read stories new and old and then use collage, drawing, sculpture, paint and more to bring our ideas to life. Campers will create books that tell their own stories; using a wide range materials to help their ideas jump right off the page.

extrasensory art

camp week 5

with Samantha

Ages: Rising K-2nd Graders

Class Time: 9am-3pm

Dates: 7/27/2026 - 7/31/2026

Does your young artist like to dive right in to materials? Join us for a week of camp focused on an immersive, hands-on art experience exploring the building blocks of art: shape and texture. Campers will mix traditional art mediums with unconventional materials to create sensory art that engages kids beyond the boundaries of the visual.  We'll take time with textures as we explore unorthodox art materials like baking soda and bubble wrap and then set our sights on shapes to create truly extrasensory artworks.
